For our customer, we are looking for an IT Planning and Financial specialist.
As the IT Planning and Financial specialist, you will be a key partner and advisor to the Head of FLS-IT (CIO) and the management team, ensuring IT financial transparency, operational efficiency, strategic alignment, and clear communication within the IT organization and across the company. You will manage high-priority initiatives, streamline internal processes, and support the Head of FLS-IT vision with a strong emphasis on financial analysis, KPI reporting, and performance management. This role demands a seasoned professional with a strong analytical background, financial acumen, and the ability to create compelling presentations and reports for the executive team.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Oversight & Budget Management
- Track, analyze, and report on financial performance, identifying trends, opportunities for cost optimization, and areas of improvement supporting the Technology Business Management (TBM) approach
- Work closely with finance teams to ensure alignment on budgetary processes, forecasts, and ongoing financial reporting.
KPI Reporting & Performance Management
- Manage KPIs and OKRs to measure performance across technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Create, update, and manage regular dashboards and reports to provide clear insights on progress, roadblocks, and impact.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency, optimize resource allocation, and enhance accountability across the tech organization.
Strategic Support, Communication & Collaboration
- Develop and manage internal and external communications for the CIO, including presentations, reports, and updates for leadership meetings.
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders to drive clarity and alignment on goals, priorities, and execution plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across departments to facilitate alignment on strategic initiatives, mitigate risks, and foster collaboration.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic operations, financial planning, project management, or similar roles within technology or related industries.
- Extensive experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of transforming data into actionable insights and clear reports.
- Demonstrated ability to build and deliver executive-level presentations, balancing detail with high-level messaging.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and drive consensus across senior leadership.
- Proven experience in project or program management, ideally within a technology or IT environment.
